One of my favorite times when the cheerleaders came was in the early 90s. I had planned for 6 months. Leave to Itaewon was approved. Reservation for the Dragon Hill was accepted. I was set.
Checked in. Dropped my bag on the bed. Laid out my clothes for brunch the next day. Pulled out the money I didn't want to spend that night and locked it in the bag.
Went out the door to Itaewon. YEA! My favorite place. Hookers for under 50 usd. Jim beam. Hooker Hill here I come! Screw the cheerleaders man. That's just eye candy. I wanted a meal.
Walked out. Spent a few hours whoring and drinkin. Came back about 0300 hours. Elevator up. Elevator stop. Elevator open. C H I T !!!!
Guys in suits and ear phones circle me! "Where do you think you're going? TROOP"
Uh, Uh, my room. Please don't kill me. Guy took my key card, opened the room, looked around (don't know why), looked at the bag and dog tags. Came out and told me, "Sir, the cheerleaders are staying on this floor. We ask that you do not come out of your room until after 0900."
I smiled my ( I'm drunk you're not. I got laid, you didn't. I got dadada, you didn't) smile.
Then I asked if he would be so kind as to wake me for brunch. He smiled and told me he would and closed the door behind him.
He lied to me.
My favorite cheerleaders in Korea story!
#4 Tom, you are correct young man!

5,
My uncle once told my dad how he (at one time a very influential guy in business and government) had hired a former US president as a guest speaker at one his company's annual get-togethers. My uncle, after having had a few glasses of wine too many, stepped into the washroom to relieve himself. As he was standing at the urinals, he noticed some shuffling behind him. Two guys in dark suits stepped in, looked around, stepped out again and then a third tall guy in a gray suit walked up to the urinal next to him. My uncle, still feeling a bit drunk, looked up wonder who this guy was, saw the familiar face, looked down, looked up again and said, "No wonder she liked cigars."
