One picture of a taco truck that hasn't even sold one kimchi taco and the headlines in bold type are "Korean food has swept the USA." Whatever.

When are they coming to Texas?

Those tacos don't look like anything I've ever eaten in Korea (get your mind out of the gutter, GIKorea
).

That looks really good! I live in Bowling Green, KY which has a few Koreans so I doubt that they will come here but I live about an hour & a half from Ft Campbell, KY & it would be nice if someone would open one there. Hell, it's 2333 hrs now & this article made me hungry.

Kimchee tacos have been sold in the States for a long time… usually out of massage parlors.
None-the-less… try this!
Get a pan. Put some old kimchee in it… the older, the better. Put some sesame oil, garlic, hot pepper, onion. Cook it. Throw in a can of tuna. Keep cooking.
Get a baguette. Cut a V out of it like they do at Subway. Pack your kimchee/tuna glop in it. Cover the top in shredded cheese. Melt the cheese in the oven.
Cover with chopped uncooked onion, garlic, sesame seeds… lettuce and tomato are even OK.
Eat.
Another thing.
Get a cheese pizza from Cosco. Cover it with old kimchee fried in sesame oil. FANTASTIC.
Kimchee is the food of the Gods… and Koreans can be excuses for many things for offering that gift to the world.
Of course, many foreigners ask, "How can you eat that?"
I tell them this…
"Remember the first time you had beer? Tasted like crap, didn't it. But, after some practice, it started tasting better and better. Now, you can't live without it. Kimchee? Same thing."
Fermented squid, oysters and fish eggs are excellent… and, of course, the fermented sting ray is fantastic… except for the brain.
It took a year of trying it every time it was offered before I got a taste for it… but once I did, there is no going back.

You must be American.

Teadrinker,
They say American beer is served cold so it can be distinguished from piss.
For mainstream beer, I agree. Like much else in mainstream American pop culture, from fast food to "blockbuster" movies, it is designed to satisfy the lowest common denominator.
While I choaked down Bud and its foreign and domestic clones, the first beer I drank which I enjoyed was Molson Dark. While it is no microbrew, it is fine beer… and something Canada can be rightfully proud of.
Good job, Canadian.

Beer contains ethanol, which is toxic to brain cells.

Dude, anything Molson makes tastes like moose piss to me…In other words, although it may be more flavorful than Bud, it's still piss. I recommend anything made by Unibroue (it's actually Belgian style beer). Moosehead, Alexander Keith's (as far as amber beers go, their Indian Pale Ale is pretty darn good), and even Sleeman's aren't that bad either. Stay away from Kokanee beer, it's watered down piss, not unlike Old Milwaukee.

Teadrinker 13, I don't think it's a good idea to inhale smoke.
