I miss seeing old men walking around in a white trimmed black hanbok and a black hat on top their heads. I'm so going to rock that style when I'm 75.

Make fun of it all you want. I will be wearing mine tomorrow… and I will be lookin' gooooood.
My wife had very nice tailor-made hanbok in conservative dark red and blue made… and it looks just as sharp as a Western suit.
I like it when countries wear modern versions of their traditional clothes. It represents an alternative to the McFashion that has been spread by American McCulture.
The cut and colors in the picture are not stylish… kinda the hanbok version of a green 4-button suit.

My mother and I wore hanboks to my brother's wedding- his wife's family and their guests were all very excited to see Americans 'properly' attired for the occasion… especially the bride's grandmother, she kept pinching my cheeks (seriously! I never knew grandmas actually did that) and saying something about how cute I was.
