People who are not familiar with Korea may find it hard to believe that this country really makes some outstanding movies that are equal in quality with Hollywood movies. If you live in the US and have an all-region DVD player it is easy to watch Korean movies because the majority of Korean DVDs have English subtitles. Even some of the Korean dramas are pretty good though the story lines on most them become repetitive and easily predictable after a while. The Korean movies on the other hand seem to always be inventive and have fresh story lines. There are many great Korean movies and dramas worth taking the time to view, but I recommend checking out my list of the best Korean movies of the past decade as a good way to get started with finding some great Korean movies to watch.
