Korea Finder 10-11

So who knows who the painter is that created these traditional Korean works of art?

Korea Finder Leader’s Board:

  1. Mark – 3
  2. Leon Laporte – 2
  3. Cloying Odor -1
  4. Chickenhead – 1
  5. Regulate – 1

The person with the most points at the end of the year of the weekly Korea Finder contest will be rewarded with a book or DVD of their choice from Amazon.com.   Also note that if you have a picture that you think would make a great Korea Finder feel free to send it in to me.

    Kim Hong-do…

…but, even deeper, these are propbably digital "remasters" by Andrew B. and the picture is probably a coaster set.

And in case anyone has been wondering, yes, I have been monitoring ROK Drop, and I have indeed been letting several Korea Finders slip in order to decrease drama and make for a more competitive event. However, now that we have two contenders one game behind me, next week it is on like Donkey Kong.

    Mark,

Are you're really saying that Google Goggles on your smartphone couldn't recognize these pictures?

Teadrinker, my 3-year old Windows Mobile 6.1 barely has enough horsepower to run Internet Explorer let alone Google. :(

Yes Chickenhead gets the point. These coasters do feature paintings from Kim Hong-do. I am looking forward to see if anyone can answer the Korea Finder next week before Mark does.

I am looking forward to see if anyone can answer the Korea Finder next week before Mark does.

Is there any way you could set it up for a specific time (e.g., 4 p.m. EDT on Friday, or whatever time zone you're in) so that it's more a game of skill and not just lucky you happened to be online at the time?

As a former Korea Finder Champion…

I'll take that bet, you're gonna regret

How abouts we go back to the old random time system? :-P

Actually Mark is right. I think random is fairer as no matter what time is picked it may not work for some people.

Let's just try to do it so it's around 0300 wherever Mark lives. :P

Leon fire up your screen and think 'bout answers hard.

'cause GI Korea's got tough questions and Mark's azz ain't made of lard.

And if you win you get a book or DVD, it's true.

But if you loose Mark orders Lustful Ajumas Part Two.

Gents, I have been posting the Korea Finders at the same time every week now because everyone was complaining about Mark's smartphone giving him an unfair advantage when I was posting the Korea Finders at random. So what is the consensus, to keep things the way it is or go back to random postings?

I vote for keeping it the way it is. Just as soon as I figure out what time zone you're in.

It's a tough call. I just want to ensure I have a fair chance to win a copy of Amazing Anal Asians IX.
