This is a picture from the Good Neighbor English Camp that was posted on USFK’s Facebook site. In the picture you can see USFK Commanding General Walter Sharp talking to the Korean students and he is with a ROK Army 4-Star General but I cannot make out his name in the pictures. Anyone know who this ROK General is?

I remember the ceremony when the new ROK 4 star came to UNC. His name was General Lee, and we all had a good laugh about it.

That is GEN Jung, the CFC Deputy Commander.

“Hello, future Good Neighbors! Raise your hands if you like ox tail. Good. How many of you know what a ‘white envelope’ is? Excellent. We have a great class today. Anybody here want to grow up to be a construction company owner?”
etc.

You know, looking at picture, I realize the ACU is less about camouflaging the soldier on the field as it is about blending him in with cement. There’s something just plain creepy about that.

“And everyone will get a chance to be adopted by a money grubbing traitorous American Family here in Seoul so they can displace an actual American child from the Seoul American High School” Sharp told the crowd.

Teadrinker,

The next world war will not be army against army in the field… but army against insurgent in an urban setting… be they resisting foreign invasion or resisting an increasingly restrictive government.
Dark times ahead for some city-dwellers.
