'Ugly' Japanese : Furious Korean protestors tear up portraits of Japanese lawmaker Sindo Yoshitaka during a rally near the Japanese Embassy in Seoul, Friday. They object to the Japanese lawmaker’s plan to visit Ulleung Island in the East Sea, reportedly aimed to back Japan’s territorial claim to South Korea’s Dokdo Islets near the island. Sure way to get in the news in Korea. Gather a dozen of your buddies and burn a Japanese flag, claiming it’s for Dokdo. Extra points if you do it when North and South Korea are in talks (which means that North Korea is about to get “concessions”).

At least they aren’t burning effigies of President Obama like in Pakistan, Iran and the Middle East.
