Although I’m leaning toward Yong Pyon… I know I’ve been to this place but cannot remember for sure where it was.

    통영케이블카.

I’m fairly certain it’s not 통영. Just rode that one at the beginning of the summer and the staging area was very different.

None of you guys have guessed the location correctly yet. Do you need a hint?

You didn’t disqualify kushibo, so I suppose this one’s in Korea.

Here is a hint for everyone. This location is near a place that is well hong.

    9:54 am on August 20th, 2011 12

Well, with that clue, the only place I can think of that hasn’t been mentioned is the cable car at 두륜산, which is in the southwestern corner of the country, better known as “Korea’s wang.”

    I’ll throw out Songam Starsvalley.

“This location is near a place that is well hong.”

There is a cable car in my pants?

  • kushibo

Though it would technically be outside Korea, is it Ngongping 360 in Hong Kong (don’t know the Korea connection there) or the Paektusan cable car? Can’t find pictures of the stations.

On my search I found a cool place, 천문산 (could be the Korea Finder, but probably not).

I also found that in Mac OS Lion, “prolly” gets auto-corrected to “probably.” Steve Jobs wants me to sound literate.

Is the 한려수도 cable car different from the 통영 one?

  • Glans

Yes, the cable car is probly different.

Uhhh. Looks like another hint or did someone get it? I had no idea there were so many cable cars in Korea. But considering the mountainous terrain it makes sense.

Here is a further hint, the cable car is near Hongcheon.

nevermind, I found it. It is indeed Vivaldi Resort at the summit. ;-)

  • ChickenHead
    8:43 am on August 22nd, 2011 23

Actually, it is on the mountain top over Vivaldi Resort.

If you look closely, it says Vivaldi Food in the brown area on the right side over the red tables and chairs between the two trees.

    What? You can’t see that?

Let me blow it up for you.

D’oh! And this is one of the Korea Finders I’ve actually been to!

And speaking of Korea Finders I’ve actually seen with my own eyes, while I’m at it, I do wish to formally protest being excluded from last week’s.

If Leon LaPorte beats me by one point, expect a lawsuit. ;-)

I’ll be happy to share the spoils of my preordained victory. You see, I’ve been praying really really hard and squeezing my eyes as tightly closed as possible so I KNOW I’m going to win. I have FAITH my brother! The lord only hears your prayers if you hide your eyes, or if you are the governor of Texas.

/The Lord is calling out to you. Reach deeeeeeep into your heart, and your pocket book, and take His hand.

Congratulations, MrChips, you’re now on the board. My man kushibo still has a commanding lead. His Mac ain’t lion around.
