Was it a dud? It made such a large hole in the roof, yet left that small room intact.

Fuxx you all. Fascist pigs. You don’t represent the U.S. but you sure do make us all hate Americans… you are doing fine job at it.

    #2,

Not necessarily. You’re thinking about the damage created by a bomb. They shot anti-personnel rockets, which explode to spread shrapnel. My guess is the rocket blew up on impact and punched a small hole thought the ceiling. Some larger pieces of shrapnel made it through, though (look at the hole in the wall at the left of the picture).

If it were an anti-personnel shell with fragmentation, why are the wooden panels inside untouched?

    #5,

It blew up on impact with the roof. Most of the shrapnel went up over the roof, not down into the room.

북한은 영평도를 포격하는 사진을 보면서 미군병사의 웹사이트를 비판하는 일이 너무 바보같지 않아? 와… 빨갱이자식들. 국가안전법의 맛 볼까? 아니면 위대한 장군의 사랑?

Initial reports were that some of the North Korean munitions in this incident were also incendiary. It’s interesting that North Koreans would choose to use such weapons (anti-personnel and incendiary) to ‘retaliate’ to artillery fire from a mostly civilian populated island.

Note to all the pro-North Korean residents of Seoul: Your brothers to the North are probably serious when they threaten a “rain of fire.” It will suck to be you.

Teadrinker 9, was the comment by kangaji 7 grammatically correct Korean? Google Translate thinks the English equivalent is:
Youngpyeong shelling of the North American soldiers watching the pictures on the website fool I do not think a lot of stuff to criticize? And … Commie bastards. Let’s Taste of National Security Act? Or the love of the great generals?

As poor as the quality of North Korean arty rounds are – it’s not at all beyond the realm of possibilities that the round never detonated.

Isn’t it too/so/really stupid criticizing a US forces soldier’s website while looking at a picture of North Korea shelling Yeongpyeong island? Wow… Commie SOBs. How about a taste of (sample of) the National Security Law? if not, the love of the Great General?
