My brother-in-law is a Korean Air Force pilot. I went down to watch this with him. It was fun. In addition to the Korean planes the USAF sent out a Warthog, a C-17 and there were flyovers from a B-52 and a U-2.

There will be a repeat of this at Osan AB’s Air Power Day on this coming Saturday and Sunday.

The Seoul Air Show is my favorite, except for any that include WW2 American bombers (the little over-priced food and drink stands notwithstanding)…
I hate the lines and crowds at all of ‘em–in the US, Canada, England, or Korea–but the Koreans are actually the most well-behaved (as much as it hurts to say that)…
I love the sound of 4 engines revving up for takeoff… I must have watched 12 O’Clock High or Command Decision one too many times…
