Considering all the crazy activists already in South Korea do they really need to import loons like this from the US?:
A visiting U.S. activist has been arrested on charges of destroying public property at the construction site of a controversial naval base on Jeju Island, police said Friday.
Matthew Hoey, 33, is accused of illegally breaking into the construction site in Gangjeong Village on the southern tip of the resort island earlier Friday morning and damaging a crane hydraulic hose and lamps, according to the Seogwipo Police Station.
The activist, a former senior research associate at the Institute for Defense and Disarmament Studies, a U.S.-based non-governmental organization, was visiting the island to participate in an international seminar regarding the controversial naval base project. He now serves as a campaign coordinator for the Global Campaign to Save Jeju Island, an international organization that opposes the naval base project. [Yonhap News via a reader tip]

WTF !!!!! An international organization to save Jeju from a military base??? What is the problem with those people??? Don’t they have a better cause to fight for? Bunch of inutile ignorants ….. The west is in the verge of a financial chaos, Israel is about to bomb Iraq, Korea has more relevant international issues to address with its neighbors like Dokdo and China’s the Northern project and they are gathering in Jeju to fight a military base that aims to protect Japan, USA and Korea? Again, bunch of stupids … They are watching too much MTV …

P-4, Guest Protest and Demonstration Visa.
It replaced the P-3, Non-resident Agitator Visa in the late 90s.

Four local activists associated with Mr. Hoey’s org were also arrested in Gangjeong village, Jeju this past week on two counts.
1) Article 314: “obstruction of business” for arresting union workers
2) Government affairs “interference”
