Source Says North Korea Assisting Iranian Nuclear Program

Here is more speculation about the extent of involvement the North Koreans have in helping the Iranians nuclear weapons program:

Hundreds of North Korean nuclear and missile experts have been collaborating with their Iranian counterparts in more than 10 locations across the Islamic state, a diplomatic source said Sunday.

The revelation lends credence to long-held suspicions that North Korea was helping Iran with a secret nuclear and missile program.

It also represents a new security challenge to the international community as it seeks to curb the nuclear ambitions of Pyongyang and Tehran, and thwart trading of nuclear and missile technology.

North Korea has long been suspected of being behind nuclear and missile proliferation in Iran, Syria, Myanmar and Pakistan.

“Hundreds of North Korean nuclear and missile engineers and scientists have been working at more than 10 sites (in Iran), including Natanz and Qom,” the source said, citing human intelligence he declined to identify for security reasons.

The source would not allow the specific number of North Koreans to be published, citing the sensitivity of the intelligence, and would not give further details on the extent of the collaboration. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because of the delicate nature of the issue.  [Yonhap]

This story is spot on!!!

Many folks retired or preparing to retire ask me “How do I get a Government job?” :|

First thing I tell them is, “You have to be willing to relocate, go where the jobs are. Overseas is the best place to start.” :???:

Getting into the system is the hard part.

Next I tell folks, “Get all the Military schooling you can, build that resume’.” :o

Too many folks retire someplace like Fort Stewart, and hang out kissing @ss, networking trying to get that cushy Government job.

You’re right, Ole Tanker. There are plenty of opportunities for retired military in the Iranian nuclear program.

The Obama administration is planning new sanctions on Iran. This CNN story by Elise Labott also has a video clip of Mohammad Javad Larijani explaining to Piers Morgan that Iran is proud of its peaceful nuclear program and doesn’t threaten to annihilate any nation. He notes that a fatwa by Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, forbids nuclear weapons. Larijani states that Iran is more secure without nuclear weapons than Pakistan and Israel are with them.
