
Toby Dawson, a Korean-born American skier who was adopted by a Colorado family in 1982, poses with an official at the Korea Ski Association during a ceremony to give him a letter of appointment as the coach for the South Korean freestyle skiing Olympic team at a Seoul hotel on Nov. 18, 2011. Dawson, who won bronze in freestyle skiing at the Turin Winter Olympics in 2006, also served as the honorary ambassador for the successful 2018 Winter Olympics bid by the South Korean alpine city of PyeongChang.
