It’s at Chogyesa Temple and it enshrines the jinsin sari (remains of Buddha).

There’s an interesting story behind the pagoda. It had been the main pagoda at Chogyesa Temple (Jogye Temple) for decades, but there were two problems: it wasn’t grand enough for the seat of Buddhism in Korea, and it was “too Japanese.”
It was replaced in 2009 by a grander pagoda, but it appears to have been moved from its location in the above picture to a lesser spot on the temple grounds.

Kushibo did get the correct answer once again. He is winning this year’s Korea Finder competition in a blow out now being up by 5 points.

Is there any way to get these emailled to interested parties directly? naturally I have no chance of winning anything this year, but it’d be fun to participate without having to rely on refreshing the page at 3pm.
At the very least, going through the archives and seeing how many I instantly recognise, I might be able to shave off a few of Kushibo’s potential points.
Maybe I should just contribute a few nasty ones myself…

How long have we been doing the finder and who are all the previous years winners?

You know how people always say, “I couldn’t have done it without him.” Well, I couldn’t have done it with him. I have no clue how he was getting it done, but the guy was the master.

I just noticed, the woman in the lower right of the picture could be my mom. She’s got the same height, hair, and handbag.

Nope. Never won.
