Less than a week after Corps officials were forced to deal with an embarrassing video of Marines urinating on the corpses of Taliban fighters, Army officials are now fielding questions about a new online video that appears to show a group of soldiers laughing and celebrating as a sheep is bludgeoned to death.
Officials from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals actually complained to Army leadership about the video in late November, but hope the publicity from the latest video scandal will help renew questions about the animal attack. They’ve petitioned Army Secretary John McHugh for an investigation of the incident, but have yet to get any response from military leadership.
The video, posted on LiveLeak in November, appears to show at least eight soldiers watching a man repeatedly strike the animal in the head and neck. Some of the soldiers helped to drag the animal into the room, and none appears to make any effort to stop the attack. [Stars & Stripes]
The S&S has the video link on their site. What I find interesting is that the S&S is calling this “The Next Military Video Scandal”. Really this is a scandal? There was even commenters on the S&S article saying this is worse than the Marine urination video. All I saw was a few Soldiers laughing while a local national (probably a terp) beat the head of a sheep to presumably kill it to be eaten. News to PETA and everyone else who has Perpetual Moral-outrage Syndrome (PMS), Afghans do not have the same sensibilities towards animals as you expect people in western countries to have. I can’t even think of a UCMJ article that could be brought against these soldiers for watching a local national kill a sheep to eat? I wonder if ISAF will issue a mandatory PowerPoint presentation on how to deal with violence against sheep that everyone is going to have to view to appease those with PMS?

unclear if the MP making the correction was a guy, or simply a butch sista. had it been a male MP, he would have been brought up on faux-charges for raising his voice and using non-nice language with these two thugettes.

#6, I wouldn’t be surprised to find out any complaints about how the women were treated at the police station found their way into an abrupt Article 15, loss of stripes, loss of pay, and loss of freedom. And they would be darn lucky not to get that anyway. South Korea is not a great place to be playing that type of game, no matter what they were told. South Korea is still at war. And the Norks are still shooting every so often…
Don’t forget the possibility of formal charges like “terrorist clothing” and “conduct unbecoming”.
The worst part of appealing an Article 15 is that if you lose, you’re a Federal Felon who can’t vote, own a firearm, or get a decent job again.

The rest of the story was obvious to anybody who watched the video.
The two argumentative cuunts wouldn’t remove their masks, made constant excuses, insisted they did nothing wrong, and were generally as uncooperative as possible.
When first questioned on the street, if they had simply pulled down their masks, given the cops big smiles, explained they were playing “sir bible” game, and let the cops dork around with their phased plasma rifles (in the 40 watt range), everybody would have left with big smiles.
Teaching how to deal with Koreans (and Asians (and non-military authority in general)) is a big shortcoming in USFK “leadership” much more focused on wasting time on Don’t Raape The Grandmothers and Teenage Girl training which (hopefully) almost everybody has been well-versed in since puberty.

To anybody with any sense at all, the blinky-lighted toys they were playing with were so far divergent from an actual firearm that the idea of any weapon-related or terrorist-related charges, let alone a felony conviction, is a sign of institutionalized insanity.
Had they been carrying cookware, crutches, or walking a dog, a better case could be made for public danger.

If the animal was to be eaten, kill it humanely. Then marinate and masticate. Beating an animal to death like that is somewhat F’d up. Marinating a Taliban with urine is more than appropriate, but I don’t think it would make them taste any better.

I doubt it was local that directed the method of how this sheep should have been killed as the halal method of slaughtering an animal for consumption consists of using a well sharpened knife to make a swift, deep incision that cuts the front of the throat, the carotid artery, wind pipe and jugular veins but leaves the spinal cord intact.
