Santorum would fight ‘pandemic’ of Internet Porn

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/rick-santorum-social-issues-contraception-abortion-church-state/story?id=15931995#.T2YmAmGlC-U

The social conservative candidate wants to ban hard-core porn. “America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography,” Santorum’s website says. “Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.”

“I get the question all the time, ‘Why are you talking so much about these social issues,’ as they, as, as people ask me about the social issues,” Santorum told NBC’s David Gregory in late February.

The Filipinos are using American smart bombs against jihadists, says Jim Gomez of AP at Time.

Vietnam says China is holding twenty-one of its fishermen on an island in the Paracels. By Tran Van Minh, also of AP, also at Time.

The qualification of the site to declare what real men should or should not do may be dubious because it seems kind of metro-sexual-ish. But this article was made for the beer experts here.

“5 Beers No Man Should Drink After 25″

    Critique away.

BTW. I’m not a big beer drinker but will drink OB when it’s offered and will drink Corona when I have to pay for it.

The Pentagon suspended efforts to recover the remains of US troops in North Korea. I missed this report by William Wan in Wednesday’s Washington Post, but I reckon y’all know about it already.

North Korea orchestra to perform in Georgia

    http://www.therepublic.com/view/story/0ab8cfca9afd409f827e4d06e8cb8a08/GA–NKorea-Orchestra/

ATLANTA — Humanitarians trying to organize an unprecedented U.S. visit by North Korea’s national orchestra hope to strike a chord of reconciliation between the two enemy nations, but they still face plenty of hurdles before a single note is played on American soil.

Global Resource Services, an Atlanta-based humanitarian group, is working to bring the North Korean National Symphony Orchestra to the U.S. this spring for an 18-day visit that would kick off in Atlanta and end in a rousing finale in New York.

The group has brought 40 delegations from North Korea to the U.S. over the last 15 years but none have faced as many diplomatic, security or logistical roadblocks as this proposal. It involves flying 164 North Korean musicians, journalists and officials here for a series of concerts, training sessions and public appearances, all captured by a behind-the-scenes documentary.

Alabama immigration law opponents protest at Hyundai shareholder meeting in Seoul

    http://blog.al.com/businessnews/2012/03/alabama_immigration_law_oppone.html

Opponents of Alabama’s immigration law have stepped up their efforts to press the key players in the state’s auto industry to speak out against the measure.

Representatives of civil rights and labor groups today attended a Hyundai shareholders meeting in Seoul, South Korea, to address the law, which they called “the most vile anti-immigration law in the country.”

Hyundai’s U.S. manufacturing plant is in Montgomery.

Well one minute & the liberals are outraged over the “citizens united” case in which the Supreme Court held that corporations have the right of free speech just like people do since corporations are groups of people who have common interest. Liberals vehemently opposed the decision but now they want the Hyundai corporation to oppose the Alabama illegal immigration law. As my Korean girlfriend used to say “You make me dizzy.”
