Wouldn’t that be Seoul Air Base’s golf course?

Er, K-16… I have Suwon on the brain. I was stationed there for 5 years after all…

    Well. This is awkward.

I am surprised that no one even Kushibo has answered this Korea Finder correctly yet. Here is a hint, this airplane is not on a US military facility.

I’m not even sure if it’s a US aircraft – the markings are unclear. Can anybody identify it? That would be a big clue. Until then, it’s UGO – unidentified grounded object.

Specifically, it’s the golf course near the northwest corner of the runways at Kimhae (Gimhae) International Airport (evidence)

I think it might be called the 김해 공군골프장 (Kimhae Air Force Golf Course), but it’s hard to tell. Google Maps does not have location names in that area, and Naver maps — quite freakishly — has removed the runways and things in the vicinity of Kimhae and replaced them with bucolic farmland.

    That’s another victory for kushibo.

Yes Kushibo gets the point, the airplane can be found in the golf course nedt to Kimhae International Airport.

Now, kushibo, for you victory lap, please explain why there is an airplane in the golf course next to Kimhae International Airport.

    12. Anyone, for extra credit, please explain why there is an international airport in Kimhae.

The drunk pilot who parked it there after a night of revelry lost the keys in the pond.

Monsieur LaPorte, Pusan is a hilly city with a busy harbor. Where else would you expect them to put an airport?

GI Korea, do you know the name of the golf course?
