It will be interesting to see how this turns out considering this month is the 10th anniversary of the West Sea Naval Battle:
Families of soldiers killed during a deadly naval skirmish with North Korea in 2002 have launched a compensation suit against a former defense minister and other military leaders for failing to swiftly deliver military intelligence to front-line units.
Six naval sailors were killed and 18 others were injured in the battle near the western sea border between the Koreas. The Second Battle of Yeonpyeong began when two North Korean patrol boats intruded into the South’s western waters off the island of Yeonpyeong on June 29, 2002. [Yonhap]
