This is something that is a new trend that is causing me to wonder if the North Korean regime is making an effort to pressure the families of defectors within North Korea to get the defectors to return home?
Four more North Koreans have returned to their communist homeland after living in South Korea where they had to endure unbearable hardships, the North’s media reported Thursday.
The North Korean Central Broadcasting Station said a couple and their daughter as well as a woman came back home and held a press conference, explaining how they suffered in South Korea.
“Our people who were forcibly taken to South Korea through mean tactics are continuously returning to their home, saying good bye to South Korea,” the report said.
According to the report, they are the third group who has come back to the communist country after defecting to the South since last year, raising the total to eight. [Yonhap]
You can read the rest at the link, but I figure these defectors are probably going to be sent to a re-education camp considering how they been exposed to life in South Korea.

I think you have to also consider the possibility that these folks may be nK agents who defected to Seoul, collected intel and have now headed home to do a propaganda tour and report out. The obvious problem is they would also return with the intel that most of what they have been told all their lives is crap.

This is why South Koreans don’t trust NK defectors.

Most North Koreans nowadays know that South Korea is wealthy.
