US Naval Vessels in Jinhae for Joint Training Exercises

» by in: U.S. Navy

I hope everyone has a good time visiting from these ships but please do not do anything stupid in Korea like we have seen sailors visiting Okinawa do before:

A U.S. nuclear-powered submarine has arrived in the southeastern port city of Jinhae for joint naval drills with South Korea, amid imminent signs that North Korea will hold a nuclear test.

The USS San Francisco is a 69-hundred ton LA-class fast-attack submarine, equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles and torpedoes. It carries 154 sailors.

South Korea’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Jung Seung-jo visited the naval base in Jinhae and said that having the U.S. submarine at the port of call would serve as a message to North Korea in response to its nuclear test preparations.

Meanwhile, the USS Shiloh, a U.S. naval 98-hundred-ton guided missile cruiser, also arrived in the southern port city of Busan.

A JCS official said that the U.S. naval vessels will participate in the joint naval drills with South Korea early next week in the East Sea.  [KBS Global]

I’m convinced that this is a new Tom, assigned to replace the old one due to the previous Tom’s failures. The writing style is all wrong, the insults are weak, and this “Tom” doesn’t hang out on the boards 24/7 the way the old Tom did.

Reeducation Through Labor awaits you like it took the Old Tom, New Tom. Better step up your game!

Can we get a judges ruling? Where is this particular Tom posting from?

Six GI animals sexually molest a Korean woman in her 20′s on a subway. The six were on the train, dancing and singing to a loud music and acting like apes that they were. The woman asked them to please act like human beings, but the animals didn’t like the ideal that this Korean girl was telling them off. How dare a Korean speak back to the conquerors? So they started to take their phone cameras and started molesting her while they recorded their videos. Three of the monkeys were arrested on the spot, while the other three ran away. The police are looking for them.

Wouldn’t those be “combined” exercises versus “joint”, as it is the US Navy and ROK Navy doing the exercise thang- not the US Army and US Navy…

Does the US Navy have anything other than nuclear submarines anymore?

Kim Jong Un has issued guidelines to the Workers’ Party. He explained how to strengthen the military and defend national security. The AP in Seoul, consulting Hong Hyun-ik of the Sejong Institute, says that means a nuclear test is coming soon. Here’s the big story.

    Thurman has been warned.
Pak Rim-su, chief Nork delegate to Panmunjom, warns General James Thruman that his exercises could ignite a war which will bring him miserable destruction. Shim Sung-won reports, and Nick Macfie edits, for Reuters.

Of course they were going to take a personal dig at Thurman after his earlier comments saying USFK was “in a period of ‘high vulnerability’” to them.
