I liked the “Napoleonic Wars” flag charge from the propaganda video. It looked like they intended to run all the way from the DMZ to Seoul, and nobody and nothing was going to stop them.

Of course, they might be a might winded once they get here…

I would deploy moon pies, ramen, and soju to slow them down. Big piles of food…they would get sick from eating all that yummy capitalist food…..then you counter attack!!

I only see two or three tanks. The rest are IFV/APCs.

BTW, is that a WPK flag on one of the APCs? Strange that they’d have a political party’s flag on a military vehicle, but it is the Norks after all.

What APCs are those, anyway? They’re not BRDMs; they look much older.

Those APCs may be the VTT-323, commonly nicknamed the “Vett.” They are a licensed copy of a Chinese APC that was designed in the 1960′s. They can carry a variety of machine gun, mortar, and missile armaments(AT-3, SA-7 or 16), the rear vehicle in the picture appears to carry twin 14.5mm guns in the turret. 4-10 passengers, light armor.

Honestly I had never heard of the type until reading John Antal’s “Proud Legions” book several years ago.

    #5,

Thanks. I was wondering what they were. I thought they might have been modified PT-76s, but they are clearly APCs, not tanks.

The Norks have cut another hotline. This one may affect Kaesong. KJ Kwon and Jethro Mullen report for CNN.

Those are Apache targets. 4/7 CAV had Cobras when I was there ’82.
