President Obama Snubs PSY During Remarks at Christmas In Washington Concert, But Shake Hands Afterwards
December 10th, 2012 at 7:13 am » Comments (27)
I think that President Obama handled this issue pretty well. It would have looked pretty petty if he was demanding that concert organizers get rid of PSY for him to attend and it would have been unfair to the other performers if he did not show up because of PSY. So instead the President left PSY’s name out of those he wanted to recognize after the concert: President Obama thanked several performers by name after Sunday night’s “Christmas in Washington” concert — with one notable exception. The president gave shout-outs

Picture of the Day: President Obama Goes to Myanmar

I had to highlight President Obama’s trip to Myanmar because it shows that authoritarian regimes can change. However, do I expect an American president to ever travel to North Korea? I do not think it would happen any time soon because the changes required by the Pyongyang regime to be rewarded with such a trip would likely be too much for them to bare. It seems to me the end of the gulags in North Korea would be just one pre-requirement that they could not meet. Anyway I am glad

I support the drone program that is bringing the fight to Al Qaeda and the Taliban within Pakistan, but I do find it interesting how quiet the American left has been as President Obama has executed his “kill list” that he believes is necessary to protect America. These drone strikes have reportedly killed hundreds of civilians as well. However, former President Bush for authorizing enhanced interrogation, which he thought was necessary to protect America is vilified by the same people: It was not a theoretical question: Mr. Obama has placed

March 15th, 2012 at 10:19 pm » Comments (18)
It looks like the servicemembers stationed on the DMZ will get a chance to see President Obama when he visits the country later this month: The White House indicated Tuesday that President Barack Obama will tour the Demilitarized Zone, which separates the two Koreas, during his visit to South Korea later this month. “A visit to the DMZ would be reflective of the president’s commitment to both security on the Korean Peninsula and the need for North Korea to live up to its international obligations, give up its nuclear weapons

Legal Memo Allows Obama Administration To Target American Citizens with Drones
October 14th, 2011 at 5:52 pm » Comments (18)
It is pretty obvious why the Gitmo crowd is pretty quiet now a days considering the expanded use of the drone program being used by the Obama administration that can now even target US citizens: The Obama administration’s secret legal memorandum that opened the door to the killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-born radical Muslim cleric hiding in Yemen, found that it would be lawful only if it were not feasible to take him alive, according to people who have read the document. The memo, written last year, followed months
