March 29th, 2013 at 6:35 pm » Comments (16)
Look who is in the news again: WASHINGTON — A gay West Point graduate discharged from the military for revealing his sexual orientation has been fined $100 in case resulting from his arrest during a 2010 White House demonstration. A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office says Dan Choi was convicted and fined Thursday by a judge hearing his case. Choi was one of 13 people arrested after they handcuffed themselves to the White House fence. His trial began in 2011 but was put on hold during an appeal. He

Former Lieutenant Colonel Claims He Was Convicted Because He Was Gay
December 15th, 2012 at 3:24 am » Comments (2)
If a heterosexual officer committed this crime against a female they would have been convicted as well, so this former lieutenant colonel’s claims of bias ring hollow to me: A military appeals court has rejected claims of anti-gay bias in upholding the 2009 conviction of a lieutenant colonel court-martialed at the former McChord Air Force Base in Washington state. While confronting some tricky issues surrounding military sexual conduct, the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals largely rejected claims raised by former Lt. Col. Steven J. DiMatteo. The married, onetime

Ft. Bragg Gay Spouse Says Family Group Is Discriminating Against Her
December 13th, 2012 at 9:18 am » Comments (55)
Via a ROK Drop Facebook tip comes this story in the Stars & Stripes that shows that some people are still having a hard time dealing with the end of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell: Ashley Broadway has been with Lt. Col. Heather Mack for 15 years. The repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell” allowed the couple to finally be open about their relationship. Once they were married in November, Broadway was excited to join the military spouse organizations at Fort Bragg, N.C. “I thought, now I can get involved,” said

Pentagon Wants To Find A Way To Celebrate Gay Pride Month
June 19th, 2012 at 3:19 am » Comments (49)
We all knew this was coming especially in an election year, but I don’t think too many people are going to have a problem with this as long as people are not forced to attend such events which I have never seen happen, so this will likely be much to do about nothing: Last summer, gays in the military dared not acknowledge their sexual orientation. This summer, the Pentagon will salute them, marking June as gay pride month just as it has marked other celebrations honoring racial or ethnic groups.

John Travolta Reportedly Likes Korean Guys Due To Their Penis Size
May 26th, 2012 at 3:01 am » Comments (20)
What would the weekend be without a little tabloid news? Here is a good one, John Travolta reportedly has a thing now for Korean guys: According to Randolph, Travolta definitely has a type. “His preference is Middle Eastern or guys with dark features,” he explains. “His taste has changed over the 15 years that I’ve seen him visiting spas. First he strictly liked black guys. For the longest time if you weren’t black, he didn’t want you. Then he was into Middle Eastern men. Then it was Mexicans and other

Korean Man Given Refugee Status In Canada Because He Is Gay
December 16th, 2011 at 7:54 pm » Comments (32)
This has to be the lamest excuse yet I have heard for getting out of mandatory ROK military service: Canada awarded a South Korean man refugee status after he objected to the mandatory military service in his home country for being a pacifist and a homosexual, a local human rights group said Thursday. The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) granted the status in July 2009 to Kim Kyung-hwan, 31, saying the gay conscript is highly likely to face abuse and mistreatment back home, according to the Center for

Gay Servicemembers File Lawsuit To Receive Benefits For Spouses
October 28th, 2011 at 8:32 am » Comments (85)
It has long been suspected that the gay rights groups wanted to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell as a way to then to go after the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) by claiming discrimination against the spouses of gay servicemembers. Well this has now been proven to be true: A group of eight gay servicemembers sued the federal government Thursday for military and veterans benefits for their same-sex spouses, arguing that ignoring their marriages amounts to discrimination. The move comes a little more than a month after the end of

Gay Soldier Summit To Be Held In Las Vegas
October 15th, 2011 at 3:08 am » Comments (38)
After reading this article I do have to wonder why is the CIA sponsoring an event like this? The nation’s only professional group for active-duty gay military personnel is holding its first conference inLas Vegas this weekend, an event only made possible by the recent lifting of the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy that prohibited gay and lesbian troops from serving openly in the armed forces. The OutServe Leadership Summit is designed to highlight the diversity of gays in the military and the challenges they face, and marks the largest gathering of gay

Homosexuals Executed In North Korea
October 1st, 2011 at 5:21 pm » Comments (13)
So does anyone think the gay rights lobby will be protesting this any time soon?: It has been reported that North Korea executed homosexuals, believing that they are influenced by capitalism. “The North government publicly executed two lesbians for being tinged with capitalism not for demoralization,” Free North Korea Radio (http://www.fnkradio.com/) reported on Wednesday. [via the Marmot's Hole] We will probably not hear much about this from the gay rights groups because they are busy with the more important business of getting transexuals and crossdressers into the US military.
Is Criticizing Don’t Ask Don’t Tell Hate Speech?
September 23rd, 2011 at 8:30 am » Comments (22)
So what does everyone think about this criticism of DADT?: On Sept. 20, 2011, a date that will live in infamy, the U.S. armed forces were deliberately and successfully attacked by advocates of the scourge of homosexuality. The elimination of the last vestige of moral restraint on sexual perversion in the U.S. military, commonly known as the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, ushers in a new Orwellian era in which the military leadership of our nation will proclaim the unnatural as natural, the unhealthy as healthy and the immoral as
