Fortunately no one was killed but judging by the pictures it seems that was quite a hard landing considering the helicopter is completely totaled: A U.S. Marine CH-53E helicopter crashed just south of the demilitarized zone that separates North Korea from South Korea on Tuesday. Sad news about the eight Koreans that may have lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Peru: The Peruvian military and police are ready to send in rescue teams to find a helicopter carrying eight South Koreans that went missing earlier in the week, a diplomatic source said Friday. It is good Korea is upgrading their helicopters because it is definitely something that is needed.  I don’t know how many times I have seen ROK UH-1′s flying low over the rice paddies and I felt I was in some kind of time warp.
