If you are one of those people sick of PSY, guess what he is back with a new song Mother Father Gentleman and of course has a dance to go along with it: I guess we are about to see if PSY is more than just a one hit wonder. By the way Kangaji has translated the lyrics of the song over at his site.

Can PSY Become A Long Term Success In the US or Will He Just Remain A One Hit Wonder?

December 24th, 2012 at 8:01 am » Comments (26)

Korea K-Pop sensation PSY recently had his YouTube video Gangnam Style surpass one billion page views and is booked to participate in another major concert in the US on New Year’s Eve, but it seems to me that after his anti-American scandal that PSY’s days in the spotlight are likely over after the New Year’s Eve concert.  This hasn’t stopped PSY from cashing in on his success, but he did recently buy in cash a $1.25 million dollar condo in California which I think may be a bit premature if

This is a claim that is often made in regards to females working in the Korean entertainment industry and it appears there is a lot of truth to the rumors: Six out of 10 actresses in Korea have been propositioned for sex by influential figures, according to a poll of 111 actresses by the Korean Women’s Development Institute commissioned by the National Human Rights Commission. In the survey published Tuesday, 60.2 percent of respondents said they had been accosted for sex by senior figures in the broadcast industry or other

Below is a press release I received promoting an interesting North Korea related event for those in the New York area on October 18th.  The guest speakers are pretty impressive and this should be event worth checking out.   Details are below: There are increasing evidence of outside media trickling into the tightly locked country- South Korean dramas are a hit in the North Korean black markets. Will Korean popular culture (K-pop) be the new ping-pong diplomacy? Will the increase in informational flow have an impact in the general North Korean psyche-

I guess employees should check with their employers before trying to go Gangnam Style on their own: Fourteen employees at an El Monte, Calif., aquatic park are organizing an effort to get their jobs back after they were fired for filming a parody video they say was meant to highlight how much they loved working at their jobs. In the video, a group of lifeguards dances in humorous choreographed moves in an homage to the “Gangnam Style” video that has become a huge viral sensation online, with more than 130,000,000

That is what this Korea Times article is claiming:  For Wonder Girls, Girls’ Generation and BoA, the U.S. market was a tough and tricky one to crack. But not for PSY, the eccentric Korean singer and rapper who just happened to make perhaps the most successful U.S. debut in Korean music history. PSY’s secret? He didn’t try. There was no extensive strategy, no hard training and not even a need for the 34-year-old to set foot on U.S. soil. The four-minute video of his newest single “Gangnam Style’’ on YouTube
