The Chosun Ilbo is reporting that many North Korean defectors eventually turn to crime to make ends meet in South Korea: The number of crimes committed by North Korean defectors in South Korea is rising dramatically. Another Korean prostitution ring has been broke up in the US, this time over in El Paso: The owner of a Central El Paso massage business that was raided two weeks ago was granted bail Monday morning by a U.S. magistrate judge. In Soon Kim, the 60-year-old owner of the Kyoto Hot Stone Spa, 616 N. Virginia, was given a $10,000 bond by U.S. Magistrate Judge Norbert Garney. She was arrested during a Oct. 17 raid of her business by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations agents.
