He may have been issued a death sentence but it will be interesting to see if he is ever executed because Korea has not executed anyone since 1997: A court yesterday handed down a death sentence to Kim Hong-il, 25, who brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend and her sister in Ulsan last year.
